As a creative director, art director and (fairly decent) writer, I’ve had nearly every experience possible within an ad agency creative department. I’ve been both a rookie designer and a VP, leading my own business unit. I’ve worked inside massive, international companies and three-person creative boutiques. I have a deep understanding of/obsession with advertising, design, photography, video, copy, and branding systems. And a strong belief that a great insight and strategy are foundational to all these elements. My fingerprints are on brands like Starbucks, T-Mobile, Alaska Air, REI…and the local pizza shop.

They’re also on file with the FBI via my former service in the Army Reserve. Which was a formative experience that shaped who I am and how I live to this very day. During my six years, I was lucky enough to learn the valuable qualities and attributes that rest at the heart of true, inspirational leadership. And developed the drive to consistently and confidently problem solve. I bring this unique perspective to every project, enabling me to lead and inspire teams of thinkers and makers to perform their best in all situations.
